Gold and silver prices continue to witness constant fluctuations. While prices remain subdued at market opening, activity picks up by the evening. Today, Thursday, September 10, prices for both metals have fallen in the global market. Let us take a look at the prevailing trends in the bullion market.

**Prices Plunge in International Markets**
Prices for both gold and silver have declined in the international market, specifically on Comex. According to Comex data available at the time of writing, gold fell by 0.07%, with the price reaching $4,457.80 per ounce. Meanwhile, silver prices dropped by 0.80%, trading at $68.095 per ounce.
**What is the Situation in the Domestic Market?**
Prices for both gold and silver have also declined in the domestic bullion market. On the MCX, gold was seen trading at around ₹1.53 lakh per 10 grams. Similarly, silver prices in India fell, trading at approximately ₹2.43 lakh per kilogram.
**How Much Did Silver Fall on MCX?**
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), gold prices dropped by ₹113 by the time of writing, trading at ₹1,53,690 per 10 grams. Silver fell by ₹1,150 around 9:00 AM, reaching a price of ₹2,43,108 per kilogram.
**Bullion Market Prices**
Prices for both gold and silver have declined in India. In this scenario, 24-carat gold is trading at around ₹1,54,240 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold remains at approximately ₹1,41,387 per 10 grams. Meanwhile, 18-carat gold is trending near ₹1,15,680 per 10 grams. Additionally, silver prices in India were seen trading at approximately ₹2,42,820 per kilogram.
