Dr. Manan explains that an old water bottle left in a car can become the most dangerous drink for you. When a car is parked in the sun, the temperature inside rises significantly. Due to this heat, the plastic bottle gradually starts to break down or degrade. In this process, harmful chemicals from the plastic begin to leach into the water. These chemicals can affect the body's hormonal system and can prove harmful to health in the long run.

The doctor says that people often leave half-empty water bottles, thinking they will use them later. But this habit can be dangerous. Due to the heat, sunlight, and being left in a closed car for a long time, the water not only becomes stale but its quality also deteriorates. This can increase the risk of headaches, stomach problems, and, in the long term, hormonal imbalances.

Is mineral water safe?
Many people think that mineral water bottles are safe, so nothing will happen to them. But the truth is, regardless of the brand, plastic is still plastic, and when heated, its components can leach into the water. Therefore, it is absolutely not advisable to keep such bottles in the car for a long time.

In such a situation, it is best never to drink old water left in the car. If a bottle has been lying there for several hours or days, especially in a hot car in the sun, it should be thrown away immediately. Always make it a habit to drink fresh water. Try to carry a new bottle every time you go out or use a steel or glass bottle from home.
