Former Pakistan cricket team captain Inzamam-ul-Haq has expressed displeasure over India and BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India). He has appealed to other cricket boards to boycott IPL 2025. Inzamam says that if BCCI does not allow its players to play in foreign T20 leagues, then other boards should also take similar steps. BCCI has a strict rule that no active Indian male player can participate in foreign leagues. Only retired players are allowed. By the way, Indian women cricketers like Harmanpreet Kaur, Smriti Mandhana, and Jemima Rodrigues play in foreign leagues like BBL and The Hundred. This rule applies only to male players.

Inzamam spewed fire against IPL.
Inzamam-ul-Haq said in a conversation with Pakistani media, “Leave aside the Champions Trophy, you look at the IPL, where top players from around the world participate. But Indian players do not play in other leagues. In such a situation, other boards should also stop sending their players to IPL. If BCCI does not send its players to play in any league, then shouldn't other boards also take similar steps? "
Inzamam also mentioned the Pakistan Super League (PSL). The dates of PSL and IPL often clash with each other, due to which most foreign players prefer to leave PSL and play in IPL. IPL is the richest cricket league in the world, and the fees and exposure that players get here attract them.

Demand for strict action against BCCI
Inzamam believes that if other boards unite and take strict action against BCCI, then this situation can change. He said, "If all the boards decide together that they will not send their players to IPL, then BCCI will also have to reconsider its rules." Inzamam-ul-Haq has been giving anti-India statements for the past few days. Inzamam had accused Sunil Gavaskar of running away from Sharjah out of fear of Pakistani bowlers.
