IPL 2025 : Kavya Maran called a special player, no one can stop SRH from winning IPL this time!

Vian Mulder replaced Bryden Cars in the Sunrisers Hyderabad squad for the Indian Premier League on Thursday. England all-rounder Cars has been ruled out of the IPL due to a toe injury.

27-year-old South African all-rounder Mulder, who played in the Champions Trophy semi-final against New Zealand on Wednesday, has been roped in by 2016 winners and last year's runners-up Sunrisers for Rs 75 lakh.

The IPL said in a release, 'Cars are out of IPL 2025 due to injury, and all-rounder Mulder, who will replace him, will join SRH for Rs 75 lakh.'

Mulder has so far played 18 Tests, 25 ODIs, and 11 T20 matches for South Africa. Cars, a member of the England team in the Champions Trophy, suffered a toe injury during the match against Australia.

The team owned by Kavya Maran had retained five players before the IPL auction. Apart from captain Pat Cummins, Abhishek Sharma, Nitish Reddy, Heinrich Klaasen, and Travis Head were retained. In the auction too, they were successful in adding players like Ishan Kishan, Mohammed Shami, and Harshal Patel.
