**Impressive Earnings**
The film crossed the ₹10 crore mark in bookings for opening day within just a few hours, despite a limited screen release.

According to reports, the film has earned approximately ₹10.60 crore through bookings in India so far. By Sunday morning, over 4.35 lakh tickets had been sold across 4,314 shows. As bookings have not yet commenced in several major locations, trade experts anticipate that this figure will rise rapidly.

**City-wise Earnings**
Tamil Nadu has emerged as the film's largest market, generating bookings worth approximately ₹4.87 crore. This is followed by Karnataka with ₹3.04 crore, with Bengaluru making the most significant contribution. Kerala has also seen a strong performance, bringing in ₹1.69 crore.

In terms of cities, Bengaluru leads the pack with ₹3.01 crore in bookings. Chennai has generated ₹1.18 crore, with over 86% of seats already booked. Coimbatore contributed ₹67 lakh, while Hyderabad, Madurai, Thiruvananthapuram, and Kochi also showed a positive response.

The dominance of the film's Tamil version is evident, accounting for ₹10.17 crore (approximately 96%) of the total bookings. The Telugu version earned ₹42 lakh, while the contribution from the Hindi version remains quite low.

**About 'Jan Nayakan'**
Before its release, reports of the film leaking in HD caused concern among the makers and fans. Despite this, the film's advance bookings have not been significantly affected.

'Jan Nayakan' will feature actors such as Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol, Mamitha Baiju, Prakash Raj, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Priyamani, Narain, and Nassar alongside Vijay.

This film is also particularly significant because it is considered to be Vijay's last. He will focus entirely on politics thereafter, generating immense excitement among fans regarding the movie.
