Kharmas: No auspicious work is done in Kharmas, but why is death considered sacred? Know every single thing from the astrologer..

It is said that birth and death are not in anyone's control, these are mysteries that are in the hands of God. But in Hinduism, some dates and periods are considered such, in which death that occurs has special spiritual significance. At present, the Kharmas of Chait month is going on, which according to the Panchang will start from March 14 and will continue till April 12. Usually, any auspicious work is prohibited at this time, but if someone dies during this period, is it considered inauspicious?

Renowned astrologer Pandit Nandkishore Mudgal of Mudgal Astrology Center located at Pagal Baba Ashram in Deoghar told Local 18 that even though the time of Kharmas is considered prohibited for auspicious works when the Sun is in Uttarayan and a person dies at this time, then that death is considered Mokshadayi. According to him, such souls do not come into the cycle of birth again. This is the time when the grace of Brahma, Vishnu, and Mahesh is considered especially active. Therefore, the person who leaves the body during this period directly attains salvation.

Why is death during the Dakshinayan of the Sun considered inauspicious?

Pandit Mudgal explains that when the Sun is in the Dakshinayan and if someone dies during the same Kharmas, it is considered a very inauspicious sign. Such souls often wander and they need special worship for peace.

Premature death and the path to peace of the soul

He also said that if the death that occurs at any time is premature, then the possibility of salvation is less. Therefore, for the peace of such souls, religious rituals like Pinddaan, Shraddha, Havan, and Bhagwat Katha should be organized properly. These works were done after Kharmas provide peace to the soul and support in the next journey.
