The left-handed batsman tried to play a pull shot without footwork and the ball hit the top edge of the bat and went in the air, which was caught by Shardul Thakur running from mid-on.

Digvesh Singh Rathi accepted the Level 1 offense under Article 2.5 and accepted the sanction of the match referee, which is final and binding in case of Level 1 violation.
