These days, there is a massive craze for the ‘Korean Glass Glow’ in the skincare world. People spend thousands of rupees on expensive Korean beauty products and sheet masks to achieve flawless, radiant, and glass-like skin. But did you know you can achieve this magical glow at home for just 5 rupees? Yes, don't be surprised! You can prepare an effective DIY sheet mask in minutes using ordinary tissue paper and a few natural kitchen ingredients. It is not only pocket-friendly but also chemical-free, giving you an instantly fresh and glowing look.

Ingredients required to make the sheet mask:
Plain tissue paper or paper napkin (clean, soft, and free from fragrance or prints) – 1 piece (to make the face mask)
Rice water (the key ingredient for the glass glow) – 2-3 spoons
Aloe vera gel (store-bought or fresh) – 1 spoon
Honey (optional, if skin is very dry) – ½ teaspoon
A small bowl (to mix the ingredients)
Scissors (to cut holes for the eyes, nose, and mouth)
Method to make the DIY tissue paper sheet mask:
To make the sheet mask at home, you first need a good-quality, plain, and soft tissue paper or paper napkin. Ensure the tissue paper has no designs or fragrances.
Step 1: Preparing the mask shape: Place the tissue paper on your face and gently press it to mark the positions of your eyes, nose, and mouth. Now, use scissors to cut holes at these marked spots so you can easily breathe and see while wearing the mask. Your dry sheet mask is ready.
Step 2: Prepare the magical serum (liquid): This is the step that will give you that Korean glass glow. 'Rice water' is the most popular and effective home remedy for achieving a 'glass glow.' Take 2–3 tablespoons of rice water (the cooled water obtained after soaking or boiling rice) in a bowl.
Add 1 tablespoon of aloe vera gel and half a teaspoon of honey to it. Mix all three ingredients thoroughly. Rice water brightens the complexion and tightens pores; aloe vera hydrates the skin, while honey makes it soft and radiant.
Step 3: Soaking and Application: Now, dip your prepared tissue paper mask into this serum mixture. Allow the tissue paper to fully absorb the liquid. Carefully lift it out and place it properly onto your clean face.

Application Method and Benefits:
Leave this homemade sheet mask on your face for 15–20 minutes. Relax while it works. When the mask begins to dry slightly (do not let it dry out completely), gently peel it off in an upward motion. Gently tap any remaining serum into your skin to help it absorb. There is no need to wash your face.
Made for less than 5 rupees, this mask provides instant freshness, deep hydration, and that coveted Korean 'glass glow.' Using it 2–3 times a week will lead to a noticeable improvement in your skin's complexion. However, be sure to perform a patch test before use.
