**Ingredients**
1 cup oats

2 tablespoons *besan* (gram flour) or rice flour

1-2 finely chopped green chilies

1 tablespoon oil

1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder

1/2 teaspoon red chili powder (optional)

1 pinch asafoetida (*hing*)

1 tablespoon finely chopped coriander leaves

Salt to taste

**Ingredients for the Stuffing**
1 teaspoon cumin seeds

2 tablespoons *paneer* (cut into small pieces)

1/2 cup boiled green peas

1/2 boiled potato

1 teaspoon finely chopped onion

1 teaspoon tomato

1 teaspoon boiled beans

1 pinch asafoetida (*hing*)

1/2 teaspoon red chili powder

1/2 teaspoon *chaat masala* or *garam masala*

Salt to taste

**Method**
To make the stuffed oats *chilla*, first prepare the stuffing. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan and roast the cumin seeds.

Next, add the onion and tomato along with a pinch of asafoetida, 1 teaspoon turmeric, 1 teaspoon red chili powder, and salt to taste; sauté for 1 minute. Next, thoroughly mix in 1/2 cup of boiled green peas, 2 tablespoons of chopped paneer, 1/2 a boiled potato, and 1 teaspoon of boiled beans.

Transfer the mixture to a bowl and set it aside to cool.

Now, take a large bowl and add 2 tablespoons of gram flour (besan) or rice flour.
