Shardiya Navratri 2025 Day 7: Goddess Kalratri, the seventh power of Goddess Durga, is worshipped on the seventh day of Navratri. According to astrological beliefs, Goddess Kalratri controls the planet Saturn, meaning worshipping her alleviates the ill effects of Saturn. Kali is also known as the goddess of yantras, mantras, and tantras.

The Form of Goddess Kalratri
According to the Puranas, Goddess Durga created Kalratri to slay the demon Raktabeej. Her complexion is dark, with disheveled hair, a garland resembling lightning around her neck, and three eyes. Flames of fire emanate from her breath, and her vehicle is a donkey. Despite her terrifying appearance, Goddess Kalratri, with her hands in the Var and Abhaya mudras, and holding a sword and a thorn, bestows auspicious results and is therefore also known as Shubhkari.

On this day of Navratri, the practitioner's mind is centered in the Sahasrara Chakra. This chakra is considered the gateway to the attainments of the universe. Worship Method
After worshipping the Kalash, light a lamp before the Goddess and offer roli, rice grains, flowers, and fruits. The Goddess is particularly fond of red flowers, so offering hibiscus or roses is considered auspicious. Offer jaggery to the Goddess and donate it to a Brahmin.
