**Hang a Toran of Mango or Ashoka Leaves**
Instead of artificial flowers, hang a *toran* (decorative door hanging) made of mango or Ashoka leaves at the main entrance; these are considered auspicious. Using mango and Ashoka leaves for decoration is believed to prevent negative energy from entering the home. Additionally, drawing a Swastika symbol on the main entrance is considered auspicious.
