Now, make bakery-style bread right at home! Simply use oats and seeds instead of refined flour—the recipe is easy..

Who doesn't love bread? Whether it's a quick morning breakfast or an accompaniment to evening tea, sandwiches and toast have become a staple in almost every household. However, most commercially available bread is made from refined flour (maida), which is detrimental to both our digestion and overall health.

Does this mean we should give up bread entirely? Absolutely not. Today, we bring you a fantastic recipe that allows you to make bakery-style bread—soft and airy—right at home. The best part is that we won't be using any refined flour at all. Let’s look at the easy method to make it.

**Ingredients Required**
2 cups rolled oats (ground into flour using a mixer)
½ cup mixed seeds (pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, chia seeds, flaxseeds)
1 tablespoon baking powder
½ teaspoon baking soda
1 cup fresh yogurt (curd)
2 tablespoons olive oil (or any cooking oil)
Salt to taste
A little lukewarm water (as needed)

**Simple Method to Make the Bread**
First, grind the oats in a mixer until fine and transfer the flour to a large bowl. Add the baking powder, baking soda, and salt to the oat flour. Also, add your choice of mixed seeds. Remember to reserve a few seeds to garnish the top of the bread later. Mix all these dry ingredients thoroughly using a spoon.

Now, add the yogurt and olive oil to the mixture. Mix gently; unlike refined flour bread, this dough does not require heavy kneading. If the mixture seems too dry, add lukewarm water little by little. You are aiming for a thick, slightly sticky batter.

Next, take a bread tin. Lightly grease it with oil and line it with parchment paper (butter paper) to prevent the bread from sticking. Pour the prepared oat batter into the tin and level the top using a spoon or spatula. Sprinkle the reserved seeds generously over the loaf and press them down lightly with your fingers so they don't fall off during baking.

Preheat your oven to 180°C for 10 minutes. Place the bread tin in the oven and bake for approximately 40 to 45 minutes. After 40 minutes, check for doneness by inserting a toothpick or knife; if it comes out clean, the bread is fully baked.

Do not slice the bread immediately after removing it from the oven. Place it on a wire rack and allow it to cool completely. Once cooled, slice it up. Your super healthy, tasty, and bakery-style airy oat bread is ready. Enjoy it with your favorite peanut butter, avocado, or fresh vegetables.
