People mistook Kanika Kapoor for Kiara Advani in the 'Batwara 1947' poster; now the actress has spoken up—'So much comparison...'

In Hindi cinema, actresses like Sneha Ullal and Zareen Khan have previously been compared to Aishwarya Rai and Katrina Kaif, respectively, due to their striking resemblance.

Now, Kanikka Kapur—known for the series 'Ek Duje Ke Vaaste 2' and the film 'Dono'—has joined this list of comparisons. She will be seen in the upcoming film 'Batwara 1947'.

**People mistake Kanikka for Kiara**
As soon as the film's poster was released, some people mistook Kanikka for actress Kiara Advani, while others began drawing comparisons between the two. Kanikka does indeed bear a resemblance to Kiara; however, she has no issue with this comparison.

**Kanikka Kapur laughed at being mistaken for Kiara Advani**
Commenting on the comparison to Kiara Advani, Kanikka Kapur said, "I laughed a lot when I saw that people had mistaken me for Kiara in the poster. People have compared me to her before, but never to this extent. I was just laughing at the thought that perhaps when they watch the film, they’ll be looking for Kiara but will find me instead."

**No issue with the comparison to Kiara Advani**
Kanikka Kapur states that she has no problem with the comparison. She said, "I don't have any issue with it. People have often told me that I look like her." The actress mentioned that she had previously been compared to Kiara after the release of her web series, 'Immature Season 2'.

Directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, 'Batwara 1947' features Kanikka Kapur, Sunny Deol, Karan Deol, Preity Zinta, and Shabana Azmi in lead roles. The film is set to release in theaters on August 14. It has been produced under the banner of Aamir Khan's production house.
