This means they have an attachment to you and love you. That's why they come, but it's also important to know in what state they are coming.
This state is the most auspicious.

1 • Astrologers say that if ancestors are visiting and are very happy, blessing you, with joy on their faces or smiling, then you should be happy. This means your ancestors are very happy with you and have no problems of any kind.

2 • If they go and sit quietly and look at you, that's also very good; there's no problem of any kind. It means they've just come to see if you're okay.
3 • If you dream that you're going out somewhere with your ancestors, enjoying yourself, or talking to them, that's also a very good sign.
This situation is inauspicious.
4 • Similarly, if you dream of your ancestors and see them crying, that's a very inauspicious sign. It means they haven't attained salvation. You should perform Shraddha rituals for this.

5 • Furthermore, if you see your ancestors asking you for something, be it food or clothing, that's also an inauspicious sign. It means they haven't been satisfied. They lack things. They still crave things. In such a situation, you should perform charity.
6. Seeing your ancestors in a rage or anger is also considered inauspicious. It means you've done something they don't like.
