After a long wait and struggle of about 500 years, finally, on 22 January 2024, Lord Ram Lalla was again seated in Ayodhya. One and a half years later, on 5 June, Ram Darbar was also established here. In such a situation, this question arises in the minds of many people whether Ram Darbar should be established in their homes or not. If Ram Darbar is established, then what rules have to be followed? And what benefits will be derived from it?

Pt. Jagdish Thakkar, Khargone District President of All India Saint and Pujari Samaj, says that Ram Darbar can also be established at home, but it is very important to follow its limits. Because Lord Shri Ram is called Maryada Purushottam. However, keeping Ramayana in the house is also auspicious and it is believed that Ramji himself is seated in the form of Ramayana. If Ramayana is recited, it will be similar to Ram Darbar.
The face should be towards North, East, and West.
Pandit says that if you want to establish Ram Darbar in the house, then take special care of the direction. Ram Darbar should be facing North, East, or West. These three directions are mentioned in the scriptures. Similarly, the rules of serving God in homes and temples are also mentioned separately. If you establish Ram Darbar in the house, then it is mandatory to follow these rules. One should wake up before sunrise in the morning.

Do small service of God.
After doing daily chores and taking a bath, when you go to Ram Darbar, you should wake up God from sleep by clapping three times. Remember that when you go to the court, wear decent clothes. After this, bathe God with Ganga water, Narmada water, or pure water from wells, etc. Offer flowers and adorn him, worship with devotion. Offer various dishes to God. Do Aarti of God. This is a small worship of God that can be done at home and God can be served.
