Ramayana Teaser: Ranbir looks impressive in the role of Lord Ram; a brief glimpse of Yash and Sai Pallavi is also revealed..

The wait is finally over for fans. Today, Ranbir Kapoor’s look as Lord Ram from the year’s most anticipated and monumental film, *Ramayana*, has been unveiled. With the release of this look, fan excitement surrounding the film has reached an all-time high. The buzz generated by the filmmakers has only intensified after seeing this magnificent portrayal of Lord Ram. Ranbir Kapoor has once again left his fans spellbound. Additionally, the teaser offers a fleeting glimpse of Ravana towards the very end.

**Ranbir Fits the Role of Lord Ram Perfectly**

In this 2-minute, 38-second video, Ranbir Kapoor takes center stage. He looks absolutely convincing in the role of Lord Ram. The teaser showcases various looks of his character from different segments of the film; yet, in every single frame, Ranbir exudes a profound sense of composure and restraint. This is precisely why the anticipation among fans has surged even further following the reveal of Ranbir’s look.

**A Glimpse of Ravana, Too**

Apart from Ranbir Kapoor, the teaser does not offer a clear look at any other character or actor. However, one does catch a fleeting glimpse of Sai Pallavi as Sita and Ravi Dubey as Lakshman. Yet, overshadowing them all is the glimpse of Ravana shown at the very end of the teaser. Although the full look of Yash—who plays Ravana—has not yet been officially released, the teaser offers a view of his character in Ravana's attire from behind; the accompanying background score further amplifies the impact of this visual. The teaser also beautifully showcases Ravana's *Pushpak Vimana* (celestial chariot).

**Stellar Production and Music**

The teaser excels in its presentation of other elements as well. While it is true that full-fledged visuals of other characters have not yet been revealed, the manner in which the filmmakers have depicted the royal palace, Lord Ram’s divine bow, and the emotional depth of the narrative in this video is truly remarkable. Furthermore, the background score—composed by the legendary duo of A.R. Rahman and Hans Zimmer—adds an extra layer of brilliance to the teaser.

**Where Did It Fall Short?** However, the two demons featured at the beginning of the teaser appear to be the weakest link in this 2-minute, 38-second clip. Admittedly, this is merely a glimpse at this stage, and the audience is still awaiting the film's official trailer. Consequently, it may be premature to pass judgment just yet. Nevertheless, these demons—or *rakshasas*—are somewhat reminiscent of those seen in *Adipurush*.

**The Film to be Released in Two Parts**
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, *Ramayana* is set to be released in two parts. The first installment is scheduled for release this year on Diwali, while the second part will hit theaters next year, during Diwali 2027. The film features Ranbir Kapoor as Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Yash as Raavan, Sunny Deol as Hanuman, Ravi Dubey as Lakshman, Lara Dutta as Kaikeyi, and Arun Govil as King Dashrath.

**First Glimpse of the Film Released Last Year**
Before this, the filmmakers unveiled the first glimpse of the movie—along with its title—last year. At that time, the complete look of any of the characters had not yet been revealed; only fleeting glimpses of Ranbir as Ram and Yash as Raavan were offered to the public. However, Ram's full look has now been officially unveiled. That said, the looks for the remaining key characters—Raavan, Sita, and Hanuman—are still pending release, and fans are eagerly awaiting their reveal.
