Rice cutlet: Serve it as a snack, everyone likes its taste, whether children or adults..

Many times during the day, we feel a little hungry. Many people like to eat something during the day. In such a situation, rice cutlets can be a good option as a snack. Its taste is liked by children as well as adults. If you want, you can also serve it as a snack with evening tea. To make it, cooked rice, potatoes along with carrots, capsicum, cashews, and other spices are used. If you have not tried making it till now, then it can be prepared easily with the help of our recipe. Serve it with tomato sauce or chutney.

Ingredients

Cooked rice – 1 cup
Boiled potatoes – 1-2
Corn – 2 tbsp
Grated carrots – 2 tbsp
Chopped cashews – 2 tbsp
Ginger paste – 1/2 tsp
Bread crumbs – 1/2 cup
Cumin powder – 1/4 tsp
Red chili powder – 1/2 tsp
Garam masala – 1/4 tsp
Coriander leaves – 2 tbsp
Refined flour – 1/4 cup
Corn flour – 1 tsp
Lemon juice – 1-2 tsp
Oil – for frying
Salt – according to taste

Recipe

- First of all, take 1 cup of rice, clean it, and boil it. After this, boil the potatoes too.

- Now put the cooked rice in a big bowl and mash it till it becomes smooth.

- After this, mash the boiled potatoes and mix them well.

- Now add grated carrots, corn, and chopped cashews to this mixture and mix.

- After this, add ginger paste, red chili powder, garam masala, and other spices to the mixture and mix everything well.

- After this, add green coriander leaves and lemon juice to the mixture and mix. Add bread crumbs to it and mix.

- Adding bread crumbs helps in reducing the moisture of the mixture. Now mix refined flour and corn flour in a vessel and prepare the solution by adding water.

- Now add black pepper powder and 1/4 tsp salt to this solution and mix. After this, apply oil on both hands and make them smooth.

- Now take the prepared mixture in your hands and make balls of it, and give them the shape of cutlets. Similarly, prepare cutlets from all the mixture.

- Now dip each cutlet in the refined flour solution and keep coating it from all sides. Then put oil in a pan and heat it on medium flame.

- When the oil is hot, increase the flame. Now, according to the capacity of the pan, put the dipped rice cutlets in it for frying.

- Fry the cutlets by turning them from both the sides until their color becomes golden and the cutlets become crispy.

- After this, take out the rice cutlets in a plate. Deep fry all the rice cutlets in the same way. Rice cutlets are ready.
