Ingredients

Fresh rose leaves – 1 cup.
Beetroot – 1
Basil leaves – 15-20
Mint leaves – 1 tbsp
Chopped coriander – 1 tbsp
Cardamom – 5-6
Lemon – 2
Sugar – 1 kg

Recipe

- First of all, put the rose leaves in water and wash them thoroughly. Now add one cup of water to the vessel boil it and turn off the gas.

- Wait for the water to become lukewarm. Now put rose petals and lukewarm water in the mixer jar and grind it well.

- Now filter the ground rose petals with the help of a sieve take out the rose juice in a bowl and keep it aside.

- Now cut the beetroot into pieces and put it in the mixer jar as well. Now add coriander leaves, basil leaves, mint leaves in the jar and grind everything finely.

- Now take out the ground mixture in a vessel and add one cup of water to it. Now put this mixture on the gas to boil.

- Let the mixture boil on low flame. When it boils, turn off the gas and wait for the mixture to cool down.

- When the mixture cools down, filter it in a bowl with the help of a sieve.

- Now put more than half a kilo of sugar in a vessel, add one cup of water, and keep it to a boil.

- Cook it till the sugar dissolves in water and becomes syrup. After this, turn off the gas and let the syrup cool down.

- After this, mix cardamom seeds in the remaining sugar and grind it. Then cut the lemon and extract its juice in a bowl.

- Now add beetroot juice, rose petal juice, and lemon juice to the sugar syrup and mix it well.

- After this, add powdered sugar to the syrup. After mixing everything well, cover the syrup and keep it for 5-6 hours. Gulab Sharbat is ready.

- Whenever you want to make it, add 2 tablespoons of rose syrup in a glass of cold water and serve it by adding 1-2 ice cubes.
