Can Women Take Shilajit: Shilajit is a powerful medicine coming from the mountains. For thousands of years, Shilajit has been used to increase the strength, stamina, and masculine power of men. In Ayurveda, Shilajit is considered a boon for health and is widely used in the treatment of diseases. It is believed that eating Shilajit increases the masculine power of men and for this reason, it is often associated with men. Now the question is, can women also consume Shilajit? Let's know from the expert what Ayurveda says about this.

Dr. Piyush Maheshwari, Assistant Professor, Aligarh Ayurveda Medical College, UP told News18 that Shilajit is a natural substance coming from the rocks of the Himalayas, which is formed by the disintegration of organic matter for years. It contains plenty of fulvic acids, minerals, antioxidants, and nutrients. It can infuse new life into the cells of the body and increase the body's ability to fight diseases. In Ayurveda, Shilajit is considered a tonic not only for men but also for women. In many ways, it can be considered more beneficial for women than for men.
Dr. Maheshwari said that eating Shilajit will fill the body of women with strength and many problems will be eliminated. Shilajit helps in balancing hormones like estrogen and progesterone in women, which can reduce problems related to period irregularities, PCOD, and menopause. Shilajit removes the problem of fatigue, weakness, and low energy. It is very beneficial for both working women and housewives. The antioxidants present in Shilajit reduce skin wrinkles and slow down the effects of age. The presence of calcium, magnesium, and other minerals in Shilajit strengthens the bones, which becomes more important after menopause.

According to experts, Shilajit is considered a chemical in Ayurveda and is said to be a medicine that increases vitality. It is considered beneficial not only for men but also for women in many ways. Women should start with small amounts of Shilajit. It can be taken with lukewarm milk or water. It is good to take it once a day in the morning on an empty stomach or after a meal. However, women must consult a doctor or Ayurvedic doctor before consuming Shilajit. Pregnant and lactating women should not consume Shilajit. If someone has a serious hormone-related problem or any chronic disease, do not consume Shilajit without consulting a doctor.
