Navi Mumbai International Airport: There is a plan to prepare a separate terminal for some special personalities and celebrities at Navi Mumbai International Airport. Apart from these special personalities, film stars, star cricketers, big industrialists and family members of airport promoters will be able to travel by air from this terminal. Under the plan, the construction of this terminal will start in 2026 and will be ready by 2030. At the same time, after the completion of the paperwork, this terminal will be open to special personalities and celebrities.

Currently, there are three ways to enter the departure terminal at all airports in the country including Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai.

First - Passenger Terminal Gate, Second - Reserve Lounge, and Third - Ceremonial Lounge. General passengers enter the airport departure building through the passenger terminal gate. At the same time, only those personalities are allowed to enter the terminal from the reserve and ceremonial lounge, who are authorized by the Union Civil Aviation Ministry. Currently, 25 dignitaries are allowed to enter the airport terminal from the ceremonial lounge and 58 dignitaries from the reserved lounge. The special VVIP terminal being built at Navi Mumbai International Airport will include names of some special personalities and celebrities apart from the 83 dignitaries authorized for ceremonial and reserve lounges. These will include names of well-known industrialists, famous film stars, and star cricketers of the country. However, it is not yet clear whether this terminal will be only for special people traveling by domestic flights, or whether celebrity passengers on international flights will also be able to use this terminal.
