The climax of the ₹4,000-crore *Ramayana* hasn't been shot yet; Ranbir Kapoor revealed, "Yash and I..."

Audiences are eagerly awaiting Nitesh Tiwari's *Ramayana*. The film is scheduled for release on Diwali 2026, and the makers are preparing to launch the trailer ahead of that. Meanwhile, reports have emerged that one of the most crucial sequences—the climax—has not yet been filmed.

**Ranbir Kapoor Reveals Details**
Ranbir Kapoor, who plays the role of Lord Ram in *Ramayana*, has stated that he has not yet shot the film's climax. Speaking recently at San Diego Comic-Con, the actor discussed working alongside Yash in the film directed by Nitesh Tiwari. Ranbir praised Yash's aura and personality, describing himself as a huge fan of the Kannada superstar.

**Ranbir Praises Yash**
According to a *Hindustan Times* report, Ranbir said, "Lord Ram and Ravana will appear together at the end of the film, and perhaps even meet somewhere in between. However, we haven't shot that portion yet, so we haven't had the chance to work together. But I have known Yash for some time and am a huge fan of his work. I truly believe that to play this role, we needed someone with his kind of aura, stardom, and perspective."

The actor added, "He has portrayed it with such swag, aura, and sincerity that the character of Ravana has truly come to life. For years, Ravana has been depicted in the same clichéd manner, but this is different."

**Ramayana Being Made in Two Parts**
Since *Ramayana* is being produced in two parts and the climax will feature in the second installment, the makers still have over a year. For now, audiences are eagerly anticipating the release of the first part on Diwali 2026.

While Ranbir Kapoor plays the role of Lord Ram in *Ramayana*, Yash will appear as Ravana. At the same event, Yash praised Ranbir as a brilliant actor, stating, "No one in the world can simply come forward and claim, 'I have the capability to portray the character of Lord Ram.' The fact that he [Ranbir] said this speaks volumes. He is a fantastic actor. Portraying Lord Ram is no easy task, and I have immense respect for the way he has approached the role."

Meanwhile, Sai Pallavi will appear as Devi Sita in the film. Sunny Deol will play the role of Hanuman, and Ravi Dubey will portray Lakshman.
