From April 1, 2025, such numbers will be closed by the National Payment Corporation of India i.e. NPCI, which has been inactive for a long time. If an old number is linked to your bank account, which has been closed for a long time, then you should link a new number to the bank account before April 1, 2025.
If you do not do this work before April 1, 2025, then in this situation you may face problems in transacting with UPI. For this reason, you should get this work done as soon as possible.
