Actor Zeeshan Ayyub has issued a clarification regarding the alleged use of his voice in the announcement teaser for Ajay Devgn's film 'Chauhan'. He stated that he is not part of the film.

The title announcement for Ajay Devgn's film 'Chauhan' was released in June. It featured Zeeshan Ayyub's voice, followed by Ajay Devgn's voice. About a month after the release, the 'Raanjhanaa' actor clarified that he is not involved in the film. He also mentioned that his voice was removed from the film following his objection.

**Zeeshan is not part of the film**
Without naming the film, the actor wrote on X, "A few weeks ago, a teaser for a film was released, featuring an opening line in my voice. I want to clarify that I am not part of this film in any way. A few months ago, I was asked to dub a single line without any context. I did so in good faith because I knew the makers personally."

**Voice removed from the teaser**
He added, "As soon as the teaser was released and I saw that my voice had been misused, I asked the makers to remove it, as I have no connection to the film. Following my strong objection, the makers removed my voice from the teaser fifteen days ago."

**Zeeshan supports students**
Ayyub said, "While this clarifies my stance as an artist—that I would never be part of such a project—our entire focus should be on the country's current situation, where our young, fearless students are taking to the streets and fighting bravely. A salute to their inspiring spirit. Jai Hind, Jai Samvidhan."

**Film based on the Pulwama incident**
In the updated teaser for the film 'Chauhan', Zeeshan's voice in the opening section has been replaced by someone else's.

The film depicts the tragic events that took place in Pulwama, Jammu & Kashmir, in 2018. Devgn, who plays the lead role in the film, speaks in a voice-over about killing 30 protesters. The film is directed by Anand L. Rai.
