Do you often crave something sweet? We frequently turn to unhealthy snacks made with refined flour or sugar to satisfy that sweet tooth, but now you don't have to choose between taste and health.

Today, we bring you a very easy recipe for making Ragi Halwa. This halwa is not only delicious but also offers numerous health benefits.

**Ingredients for Ragi Halwa**
You will need very simple ingredients to make this delicious halwa:

Ragi flour: 1 cup
Jaggery (finely chopped): 3/4 cup
Desi ghee: 1/2 cup
Milk or water: 2 cups
Cardamom powder: 1/2 teaspoon
Chopped dry fruits: 2 tablespoons (cashews, almonds, pistachios)

**Easy Method to Make Ragi Halwa**
First, combine the milk (or water) and jaggery in a vessel and heat it over a low flame. Once the jaggery has completely melted, turn off the heat, strain the mixture, and set it aside.
Heat a little ghee in a pan, roast the chopped dry fruits until they turn light golden, and transfer them to a bowl.

Now, add the remaining ghee to the same pan and stir in the ragi flour. Roast it over a low flame, stirring continuously, for 5 to 7 minutes. When a pleasant, nutty aroma begins to waft from the flour, it indicates that it is roasted.

Next, slowly pour the jaggery-infused milk into the roasted flour. Keep stirring constantly with a ladle to ensure no lumps form in the halwa.
Cook the halwa until it thickens and starts releasing ghee from the sides of the pan. Finally, add the cardamom powder and roasted dry fruits, and mix well. Your piping hot and healthy Ragi Halwa is ready.

**Benefits of Ragi Halwa**
Ragi is a powerhouse of calcium, iron, and fiber. It strengthens our bones and keeps the digestive system healthy. From children to the elderly, this halwa is a perfect and healthy dessert for everyone.
