Holi 2025: Today the festival of Holi is being celebrated across the country. In such a situation, various types of dishes are made in every house. After enjoying the dishes of Holi, the stomach often starts feeling heavy, and problems like gas, indigestion, and acidity occur. In such a situation, doing some easy yogasanas can provide relief from stomach upset and the digestive system starts working better. By adopting these yogasanas, you can cure stomach upset caused by overeating during Holi and you will feel light and energetic.

Vajrasana
This yogasana strengthens the digestive system and can also be done immediately after eating. It prevents the formation of gas in the stomach and helps in digesting food quickly. For this, sit on the heels by bending the knees and keeping the waist straight. Place the hands on the knees and breathe deeply normally. Now sit in this posture for at least 5-10 minutes.
Pawanmuktasana
This asana also helps in eliminating gas. For this, first, lie down on your back and keep both legs straight. Now bend the knee bring it towards the chest and hold it with the hands. Repeat the same process with the other leg. Stay in this posture for a few seconds and then slowly straighten the legs. This will also give you immediate relief.
Ardha Matsyendrasana
This asana massages the abdominal muscles and speeds up digestion. To do this, first sit with both legs stretched forward. Now bend the right leg and place it outside the left thigh. Place the left hand on the right knee and turn to the right. Maintain this posture for 30 seconds and then repeat on the other side.
Bhujangasana
This asana helps in reducing stomach gas and acidity. To do this, lie down on the stomach and keep both hands near the shoulders. Now lift the body with the hands and take the head back. Stay in this position for a few seconds and then come back to normal posture.

Malasana
This yogasana helps in relieving constipation and indigestion. To do this, sit with your legs slightly apart and bend your knees. Make Namaste Mudra with hands joined and keep the elbows on the knees. Sit in this position for 30 seconds to 1 minute.
