She had charged ₹3 crore for her previous release, *Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha*, whereas she charged ₹2.5 crore for *Bhoot Bangla*. This decision by Tabu demonstrates that she prioritizes the film's story and the project itself over her remuneration.

Speaking of the rest of the cast, Wamiqa Gabbi received ₹3 crore for this project, a figure that reflects her growing popularity. Meanwhile, the "Comedy King" and veteran actor Paresh Rawal charged ₹2 crore for his role in the film. The presence of seasoned stars like Akshay, Paresh, and Tabu has further heightened audience excitement surrounding the movie.

Comedy maestro Rajpal Yadav received approximately ₹1 to ₹1.5 crore for this project. Similarly, accomplished actor Jisshu Sengupta also charged ₹1 crore for his role. Akshay Kumar's film features a formidable ensemble of veteran actors, resulting in the filmmakers allocating a substantial portion of their budget toward the cast's fees. Produced on a massive budget of approximately ₹120 crore, the story of *Bhoot Bangla* revolves around a village named Mangalpur and an old palace situated there. Akshay Kumar inherits this palace, where he decides to host his sister's wedding. However, amidst the festivities, a series of eerie and supernatural occurrences begins to unfold, leaving the villagers terrified. Consequently, Akshay sets out to unravel the mysteries and ancient legends surrounding the palace.

With the film *Bhoot Bangla*, Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan mark their return to the big screen together after a hiatus of 16 years. Prior to this, the duo has collaborated on movies such as *Hera Pheri*, *Bhool Bhulaiyaa*, *Garam Masala*, *Bhagam Bhag*, and *De Dana Dan*.
