Iftari Recipe: The holy month of Ramadan has started from 2 March. In this ninth month of the Islamic calendar, Muslims observe Roza i.e. fasting. During this time, they read the Quran. They offer Namaz five times a day and worship Allah. This month is considered very holy, so a lot of charity is also done during this time.
People who observe Roza in the month of Ramadan break their fast by having Iftar in the evening. Everyone makes different types of dishes during the day for Iftari. Due to this, today we will tell you how to make veg kebabs here so that you can also serve something tasty at the time of Iftari.

Ingredients for making veg kabab
1 cup chickpeas (boiled after soaking for 8 hours)
1 boiled potato
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1 green chilli (finely chopped)
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder
1/2 tsp chaat masala
1 tbsp coriander leaves (finely chopped)
Salt to taste
2 tbsp gram flour (roasted)
2 tbsp oil (for frying)
Method
To make veg kabab, first of all, grind the boiled chickpeas coarsely in the mixer.
Keep in mind that do not grind the chickpeas completely.
After grinding the chickpeas coarsely, add boiled and mashed potato to it.
Now add bread crumbs, roasted gram flour, ginger-garlic paste, green chilies, coriander powder, cumin powder, red chili powder, garam masala, chaat masala, green coriander, and salt.
Mix everything well and make a thick mixture.
Make small round or tikki-shaped kebabs from the mixture.
If the mixture seems too soft, add some more bread crumbs to give it the right texture.
Heat some oil on the pan and shallow fry the kebabs on low flame.
Bake until golden brown on both sides.
For a healthy option, bake the kebabs in an air fryer at 180°C for 15-20 minutes.
Serve hot with green coriander-mint chutney, sweet tamarind chutney, or tomato sauce.
These are the special tips.
If you want, you can fill paneer or cashews in the middle of the kebabs.
For crispiness, coat the kebabs in bread crumbs and then fry.
Spices can be adjusted as per your preference.
These chickpea veg kebabs are a delicious, healthy, and high-protein snack that kids and adults will love.
