Vegetable sandwiches are a very easy, healthy, and quick snack to make. Therefore, it's a great option for satisfying your hunger in a hurry. Also, you can add vegetables of your choice, making it even healthier. Let's learn the recipe for making a vegetable sandwich.
Serves: 2

Ingredients:
8 bread slices
1/2 cup finely chopped cucumber
1/2 cup finely chopped tomato
1/2 cup finely chopped bell pepper
1/4 cup of grated carrot and finely chopped cabbage
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
4 tablespoons mayonnaise or green chutney
Salt to taste
1/4 teaspoon black pepper powder
1/2 teaspoon chaat masala
2-3 tablespoons butter
Instructions:
First, take a large bowl and add all the finely chopped vegetables (cucumber, tomato, bell pepper, carrot, cabbage, and onion) to it.
Now add mayonnaise or green chutney to the vegetables. Then add salt, black pepper powder, and chaat masala and mix well. Note that you should add salt to the vegetables last so that they don't release water.
Take two slices of bread. If you want to toast the sandwich, lightly butter the outer edges of the bread slices.

Now spread the prepared vegetable mixture evenly on one slice of bread. Place the other slice on top to close the sandwich.
Place the sandwich in a griller or toaster and grill until it is crispy and golden brown.
Serve the hot sandwich with ketchup or chutney.
