Be patient

This increases the emotional distance between parents and children, and children feel that no one understands them. Parents should be very patient when it comes to discipline. It may take time for the child to follow the rules, but parents should consistently enforce the rules without getting angry. By being patient, children understand that their parents are doing this for their well-being, which gradually leads them to become more obedient.
