Bathing is not just a way to cleanse your body, but it is also a part of a healthy skin routine. But often women make some common mistakes while bathing, which gradually have a bad effect on the skin and health. Skin rashes, infections, dryness, or hair fall—the root of these problems can also be hidden in the wrong ways of bathing. Therefore, it is important to know which mistakes are often made while bathing and how to avoid them, so that both skin and health can be kept better.

1. Bathing with very hot water
Bathing with very hot water gradually eliminates the natural moisture of the skin. This can make the skin dry, lifeless, and itchy. Also, this habit for a long time promotes wrinkles and signs of premature aging.
Tip: Bathing with lukewarm water is better for the skin, especially in winter.
2. Using soap too often and excessively
Using too much soap can disturb the natural oil balance of the skin. It can also cause dry, cracked, and sometimes allergic skin.
Tip: Apply soap only on the necessary areas and choose products that are skin-friendly, such as pH-balanced, sulfate-free soaps.
3. Combing wet hair
Combing wet hair after bathing is a common habit, but it can be very harmful. Wet hair is weak and breaks easily when combed.
Tip: Dry the hair lightly with a towel and then use a wide-tooth comb only when it dries a little.
4. Using dirty or wet towels
Always use clean and dry towels. Bacteria and fungus grow rapidly in wet or dirty towels, which increases the risk of skin infection or fungal infection manifold.
Tip: Towels should be washed and dried in the sun every 2-3 days.
5. Negligence in cleaning the intimate area
Women's intimate areas are very sensitive and any negligence in their cleaning can cause UTI (Urinary Tract Infection) and other infections.
Tip: Clean daily with lukewarm water and if needed, use an intimate wash that is pH-balanced.
6. Washing hair daily
Shampooing every day removes the natural oils from the hair, making the hair lifeless and dry.
Tip: Shampooing 2 or 3 times a week is sufficient. Use mild and sulfate-free shampoo.
7. Not moisturizing the skin after bathing
After bathing, the moisture in the upper layer of the skin decreases. If moisturizer or body lotion is not applied immediately, the skin dries quickly.
Tip: Apply moisturizer immediately after bathing, when the skin is slightly wet.

8. Rubbing the towel too hard
Some women rub their skin too hard with a towel after bathing, which can damage the skin pores.
Tip: Pat dry with a towel gently, this does not put stress on the skin.
