Bollywood actress and film producer Kirti Kulhari has fallen victim to cyber fraud. Fraudsters misused her mobile phone and credit card to swindle ₹2,43,852 within a span of just a few minutes. Following a complaint, the Amboli Police in Mumbai have registered a case and initiated an investigation.

According to the FIR, 43-year-old Kirti Kulhari resides in Versova. The incident occurred while she was at the Cinepolis theatre in Fun Republic Mall, Andheri West. At approximately 9:31 PM, she received an alert message on her mobile from the bank, stating that a payment of US$ 2,525 had been made to Aeromexico Airlines using her credit card.

**Cyber ​​fraud against the actress**

The fraud took place while Kirti was inside the theatre; she received a message indicating a payment of US$ 2,525 to Aeromexico Airlines via her credit card. Upon seeing the message, Kirti immediately realized something was amiss. She promptly called the bank's toll-free helpline. During the inquiry, the bank revealed that four large transactions had been made using her credit card without her knowledge. Consequently, the card was immediately blocked as a precautionary measure.

**Case registered against the accused**

Kirti informed the police that she had never shared her credit card password with anyone. Preliminary investigations suggest that her mobile and card details might have been compromised through malware or spyware. The Amboli Police have registered a case against unknown individuals. The cyber cell is currently working to identify the perpetrators based on reference numbers provided by the bank and other digital clues.
