Traditional Hair Care Routine: When we wake up in the morning and stand before the mirror with a comb in hand, our biggest fear is often that we might lose a lot of hair again. If your heart sinks at the sight of clumps of hair on your comb every day, rest assured—you are not alone. Hair loss has become a common issue due to today's hectic lifestyle, stress, exposure to dust and dirt, and poor dietary habits. We often spend thousands on expensive commercial products and shampoos, yet frequently fail to achieve the desired results.

So, why not take a little time to turn to the time-tested remedies of our grandmothers? Today, we are sharing a home remedy that many have tried and tested: an easy, homemade, natural Fenugreek and Hibiscus oil. Let’s look at a simple 5-step method to prepare it.
What do you need to make this oil?
You don't need a long list of ingredients to make this traditional oil. The main components can easily be found in your kitchen or nearby:
1 cup pure coconut oil
1 tablespoon fenugreek seeds (methi dana)
1 tablespoon nigella seeds (kalonji)
2 to 3 fresh hibiscus flowers
5 easy steps to make the oil at home:
Step 1: Preparing the ingredients
First, remove the stems from the fresh hibiscus flowers. Wash the flowers thoroughly with clean water to remove any dust or dirt. Next, separate the petals and let them dry on a clean cloth or tissue paper to eliminate excess moisture. There should be absolutely no water or moisture in the oil.
Step 2: Coarsely crushing the seeds
Now, take a mortar and pestle, add the fenugreek seeds and nigella seeds, and crush them until they are coarsely ground. Do not grind them into a fine powder; simply crush them lightly so that their properties can easily infuse into the oil.
Step 3: Heating the oil on a low flame
Pour 1 cup of coconut oil into a pan and place it on the stove over a very low flame. Once the oil warms up slightly, add the crushed fenugreek seeds and nigella seeds (kalonji). Immediately after, add the dried hibiscus petals to the oil. Allow the mixture to cook on a low flame for a few minutes. Ensure the heat is not too high, or the ingredients might burn. Once cooked thoroughly, turn off the heat and let the oil cool down completely.
Step 4: Straining and storing the oil
Once the oil has cooled completely, strain it using a clean sieve or a piece of cotton muslin cloth to separate the seeds and flower residue. Transfer the prepared oil into a clean, completely dry, airtight container (such as a glass jar). Store it in a cool place away from direct sunlight and moisture.
Step 5: Correct application method and important precautions
Take a small amount of this homemade oil on your fingertips and gently massage it into your scalp. Leave it on your hair for about 30 minutes to an hour, then wash your hair with a mild shampoo. Be sure to perform a patch test before applying it to your scalp, especially if you have sensitive skin.

This natural oil can be an excellent addition to your traditional hair care routine; however, it should not be considered a guaranteed cure or a complete solution for stopping hair loss. So, what are you waiting for? Try this easy remedy this weekend and give your hair some natural care!
