The second unofficial Test match played between India A and England Lions ended in a draw on the fourth and final day. Based on Tanush Kotian's brilliant batting and a 149-run partnership for the eighth wicket with Anshul Kamboj, India A had set a target of 439 runs for the England Lions. By the end of the day's play, the England Lions' team was able to score 32 runs for three wickets. In the second innings, Anshul Kamboj took two wickets for India A, while Tushar Deshpande got one wicket.

With the help of a brilliant partnership between Tanush-Kamboj, India A declared their second innings at 417 runs for seven wickets. India A thus gained a total lead of 438 runs and set a target of 439 runs for the England Lions to win. Kotian was moving towards a century, but then the tea break was announced. Even before the third session started, India A decided to declare the innings. Kotian remained unbeaten on 90 runs off 108 balls with the help of 10 fours and a six and Anshul Kamboj remained unbeaten on 51 runs off 86 balls with the help of five fours and a six. Both these batsmen made a great partnership and did not let the England Lions get any success in the second session.
Earlier, the England Lions team scored 327 runs in reply to India A's 348 runs in the first innings. Dhruv Jurel and Nitish Kumar Reddy started the game on the fourth day for India A. There was a partnership of 46 runs for the fifth wicket between the two batsmen. Eddie Jack broke this partnership by dismissing Jurel who was dismissed after scoring 28 runs. Nitish was batting well and was moving towards a half-century, but George Hill bowled him out and gave India the sixth blow. Nitish missed out on scoring a half-century and was dismissed after scoring 42 runs off 78 balls with the help of four fours and a six. Hill then made Shardul Thakur his victim and bowled him out and sent him to the pavilion. Lunch break was announced as soon as Shardul was out. Shardul was out after scoring 34 runs off 47 balls. India A lost the wickets of Yashasvi Jaiswal (5), KL Rahul (51), Karun Nair (15), and captain Abhimanyu Easwaran (80) on the third day. George Hill took three wickets for England Lions, while Chris Woakes and Eddie Jack got two wickets each.
