Shri Krishna ji ki chhathi kab hai: According to tradition, Bal Gopal's Chhathi is celebrated on the sixth day after Shri Krishna Janmashtami. According to Hindu belief, just as Chhathi is organized in homes six days after the birth of a child, similarly, this festival is celebrated with great pomp even after the birth of Lord Krishna. It is also called Laddu Gopal's Chhathi. On this occasion, special worship, bhog, and celebration are organized in temples and homes.

When is Shri Krishna's Chhathi?
Shri Krishna was born on the Ashtami date of the Krishna Paksha of the Bhadrapada month. His Chhathi is celebrated on the sixth day of birth, i.e., Chaturdashi of Bhadrapada. This year, this festival will be celebrated on 21 August 2025.

Offerings to be offered on Chhathi
The offering of Kadhi-rice on Kanha Ji's Chhathi is considered especially auspicious. Apart from this, butter, sugar, candy, and Malpua can also be offered to Laddu Gopal.
Method of worship
Get up before sunrise, take a bath, and wear clean clothes.
Spread a red or yellow cloth on a stool and place the idol of Bal Gopal on it.
After bathing with Panchamrit, dress him in new clothes and decorate him with sandalwood tilak and a flower garland.
Light a ghee lamp, perform aarti, and offer bhog.
