Matrubhumi: How does the song 'Teri Beauty' fit into a war film? Salman Khan responds..

Salman Khan attended the trailer launch event for the film 'Matrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace' on Friday. The superstar addressed the ongoing speculation and discussions surrounding the movie, specifically responding to questions about why a song like 'Teri Beauty' is included in a film based on war.

What Salman said about 'Teri Beauty'
Salman acknowledged that many might be wondering how a song like 'Teri Beauty' fits into a film like 'Matrubhumi'. He remarked, "I know everyone is wondering how 'Teri Beauty' fits into 'Matrubhumi'. Isn't that the question on everyone's mind? Once you watch the film, you will understand how it fits. The song appears when an officer and several soldiers are praising their wives. The visuals from the film that accompany the songs we’ve shown you are actually very limited."

Why the context wasn't revealed earlier
He also joked about the fact that the promotion for 'Matrubhumi' has been going on for quite some time. "I know it might feel like we’ve released 1,400 songs, but there’s a reason for it—one I’m sure you’re all aware of. Today, we’ll clear everything up. We couldn't reveal the context behind these scenes earlier. Once you see the film, you’ll understand how everything fits together. We simply couldn't disclose the circumstances surrounding these songs until now."

The makers don't want you to take a break
In a lighthearted tone, Salman added that the filmmakers didn't want to give the audience any opportunity to take a break during the movie. He explained, "Often, when you’ve already seen a full song on music channels, watching it again in the film makes you feel like you’ve seen it before—which might tempt you to step away for a bathroom or cigarette break. We don't want to give you any such chance." 'Just stay in your seats and watch the entire film.'
