Soak 1 teaspoon of haleem seeds in water overnight. In the morning, mix these soaked seeds with amla juice or lemon juice.
It contains Vitamin C, which helps in the better absorption of iron.
Now add 1 teaspoon of ghee/coconut oil/olive oil or a piece of coconut.
These provide healthy fats, which help the nutrients from the seeds to be absorbed properly by the body.
Mix well and consume on an empty stomach.
According to nutritionists, if you don't mix garden cress seeds with Vitamin C and healthy fats, your body will not be able to utilize them properly, and you won't get the real benefits. Also, make sure you don't consume too many garden cress seeds, as it can cause constipation. Eating only 1 teaspoon of garden cress seeds a day is beneficial.
