India once again showed its strength against Pakistan. In the Champions Trophy match, Team India defeated its arch-rival by six wickets. With this defeat, host Pakistan was eliminated from the Champions Trophy. After the defeat to India, Pakistan fans as well as former cricketers criticized the team. Some cricketers believe that the India-Pakistan match is not like before and the Indian team now wins matches in a one-sided manner.
Statistics are also a witness to this that India has won its last four ODIs against Pakistan by a big margin. However, Pakistan's great spinner Saqlain Mushtaq is still not ready to accept this. Saqlain challenged India on Pakistan's 24 News HD channel and said that he played 10 Tests, 10 ODIs, and 10 T20 Internationals with Pakistan.
Saqlain Mushtaq's challenge to India
This legendary Pakistani spinner said, 'If we keep political things aside, then India's players are very good and they are playing good cricket. But if the Indian team is really good, I think if they play 10 Tests, 10 ODIs, and 10 T20 Internationals against Pakistan, then everything will become clear.'
The Pakistan team is going through a bad phase.
A lot has changed in the Pakistan team in the last few years. Be it the captaincy, selection committee, management, or even the board officials, there have been many changes in every position. However, the problem in the team remains the same. During this time, the team's performance has also been affected a lot. Saqlain also admitted that everything is not right in the Pakistan team at the moment, but this is not something that cannot be fixed.
Everything can change in Saqlain's view.
Saqlain said, 'If we do our preparation right and sort things out in the right direction, then we will be in a position where we can give a solid answer to the world and India as well.' Team India currently plays only with Pakistan in global events. At present, there seems to be no scope for bilateral cricket. Pakistan ended the Champions Trophy 2025 with no win. The team was eliminated in the group stage after losing two out of three matches. One match ended in a no result.
