The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has banned Team India players from keeping their families with them. After the humiliating defeat in the Border Gavaskar Trophy played in Australia, the board changed the rules while getting strict. Only a few days' concession was given to stay with the family during the series or tournament. Now the news is coming out that the BCCI has allowed the players to call their families to Dubai for a match.

According to the news of Dainik Jagran, the BCCI has changed its strict stance and loosened the restrictions for the Champions Trophy starting from February 19. A BCCI source was quoted as saying that if a player wants, he can take his family to Dubai for a match. The reports also claimed that the cricketers selected for the 2025 Champions Trophy will not be allowed to take their families to the UAE.
Indian cricketers will be allowed to take their families along for a match during the Champions Trophy 2025. The Indian team led by Rohit Sharma will play all the matches of the ICC tournament in Dubai. Apart from three league matches, the semi-finals and finals will also be played at this place.
Last month, there were reports that the BCCI has taken a tough stand and issued several guidelines to restore discipline. In this, a rule was also made to stay with the family for a limited time during the tour. If the tour is more than 45 days, then the player's family can stay with him for two weeks.

India has been placed in Group A along with Bangladesh, Pakistan and New Zealand. The team will start its campaign against Bangladesh on February 20, followed by a blockbuster match with Pakistan on February 23, and will conclude its group campaign against New Zealand on March 2.
