Diwali 2025: People often get so caught up in cleaning the house, shopping, and managing the guest list during Diwali that they don't even have time to go to the parlor. If this happens to you, don't worry, because today we've brought you a secret facial you can do at home in just 30 minutes. The best part is that all the ingredients are readily available in your kitchen. Let's learn about this pre-Diwali facial, which will give your skin a parlor-like glow.

Step 1: Cleansing
First, it's crucial to cleanse your face. For this, mix a pinch of turmeric with a teaspoon of raw milk. Apply it to your entire face with a cotton ball and massage gently. After 2 minutes, rinse with cold water. Raw milk removes impurities, and turmeric is antibacterial, preventing pimples.
Step 2: Scrubbing
Now it's time to remove dead skin. Mix one teaspoon of rice flour with half a teaspoon of honey and a little rose water. Apply this paste to your face and massage gently in circular motions for 3-4 minutes. The rice flour will act as a natural scrub, the honey will moisturize, and the rose water will soothe the skin. Wash it off with water.
Step 3: Face Pack
This is the most important step of the facial. For this, mix two teaspoons of gram flour, a pinch of turmeric, one teaspoon of yogurt, and a little rose water in a bowl to form a smooth paste. Apply this pack thoroughly to your face and neck. Let it dry for 15-20 minutes. When it dries slightly, massage it in with wet hands and wash it off. Gram flour brightens the complexion, yogurt softens the skin, and turmeric adds glow.

Post-Facial Care
After completing this facial, do not use any soap or face wash immediately. Apply a light moisturizer to keep your skin hydrated. Do this facial 2-3 days before Diwali so that your skin gets a chance to fully glow.
