In Hinduism, the Pradosh Vrat holds immense auspicious significance. This sacred fast is dedicated to the worship of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. Performing the rituals on this day bestows happiness, prosperity, and success in life through Shiva's grace. This fast, which occurs twice a month, is observed from morning until evening. In the evening, a special puja is performed for Lord Shiva's family, after which the fast is broken.

Many people are deeply troubled by debt. They try every possible measure to get rid of it. They even pray to the gods that the burden of debt be lifted quickly. Pradosh Vrat is considered extremely effective for such people. Let's learn from Ujjain's Pandit Anand Bhardwaj when the first Pradosh Vrat of December will fall and how this fast can help in relieving debt problems.
When will the Bhauma Pradosh Vrat be observed?
According to the Vedic calendar, the Trayodashi Tithi of the Shukla Paksha (waxing phase) of the month of Agahan begins on December 2nd at 3:57 PM. The Trayodashi Tithi will end on December 3rd at 12:25 PM. Lord Shiva is worshipped during the Pradosh period on Trayodashi Tithi. For this, the Pradosh Vrat will be observed on December 2nd.
Significance of the Bhauma Pradosh Vrat
When the Pradosh Vrat falls on Tuesday, it is called Bhauma Pradosh. According to scriptures, this day is considered highly auspicious for debt relief. The Puranas mention that seeing Lord Shiva during the first prahar on the evening of Trayodashi removes even the biggest obstacles in a person's life and provides solutions to problems.

Be sure to follow these rules.
On the day of Pradosh Vrat, bathe in the morning, purify yourself, offer prayers to the Sun God, and take a vow to observe the fast. Then, after ritually cleaning the place of worship, anoint Lord Shiva with Panchamrit. After this, worship the Shiva family with devotion, offering them Bel leaves, flowers, incense, and a lamp. Afterward, recite the Pradosh Vrat Katha, perform Aarti, and recite the Shiva Chalisa. Only then should you break your fast.
