PCOD-Friendly Snacks: Today's hectic lifestyle, poor eating habits, and stress have a devastating impact on women's health. PCOD, hormonal imbalance, hair loss, and premature graying are some of the problems that every woman faces today. We often rush to expensive supplements and treatments, but the solution lies within our kitchens.

Here, we bring you a recipe that will nourish women's bodies from within and help combat these problems. We're talking about the "Magic Black Sesame Laddoo," a superfood snack that's a powerhouse of iron and omega-3 fatty acids.
Why is this Black Laddoo special?
Black Sesame Seeds: Rich in calcium and magnesium, they are excellent for balancing hormones and strengthening bones.
Flax seeds: These are a good source of omega-3 fatty acids, which reduce inflammation associated with PCOS.
Walnuts: Walnuts are good for brain health as well as scalp health, preventing hair thinning.
Pumpkin seeds: They contain zinc, which helps maintain hair shine and promote new hair growth.
Dates: Using dates instead of sugar makes them rich in iron, which helps prevent anemia.
Magical Black Laddus Recipe -
Ingredients:
Ghee: 1 tablespoon
Black sesame seeds: 1/2 cup
Flax seeds: 1/4 cup
Walnuts: 1/2 cup
Pumpkin seeds: 1/4 cup
Dates (seedless): 10-12 pieces
Step-by-step preparation method:
-Heat 1 teaspoon of ghee in a heavy-bottomed pan over low heat. Add the black sesame seeds, flax seeds, walnuts, and pumpkin seeds.
-Roast all these ingredients over low heat for 3-4 minutes. Be careful not to let them darken or burn; just let them start to smell fragrant.
-Turn off the heat and transfer the mixture to a plate, and let it cool slightly.
-Now add the deseeded dates to the roasted mixture. Grind them coarsely in a mixer. Don't run the mixer continuously, but use pulse mode intermittently to prevent the oil from the seeds from escaping.
- Transfer this coarse mixture to a bowl. Now, take small portions and shape them into round laddus using your palms.
- Let the prepared laddus rest for 10-15 minutes to set.

Pro-Tips:
- If the mixture seems too dry and the laddus are not forming, you can add 1-2 soft dates or a little warm ghee.
- Store them in an airtight container. They remain fresh at room temperature for up to 10 days.
- Eat one laddu at any time of the day. This is the perfect and healthy snack for a mild evening hunger.
