Garlic has a warming effect on the body, making it perfect for keeping you warm during the winter months. And the best part? You don't need to spend hours in the kitchen to make it, as it's ready in minutes.
Why is this paratha special?
The crispiness and buttery flavor of dhaba-style parathas can now be recreated in your own kitchen. When the garlic and fresh coriander are cooked in butter between the layers of the paratha, the aroma alone will whet your appetite.
Ingredients for Garlic Paratha:
Whole wheat flour (kneaded dough)
Fresh garlic (finely chopped or grated)
Butter (slightly melted)
Finely chopped green chilies and coriander
Chili flakes (if you like it spicy)
Salt to taste
Method for making Garlic Paratha:
First, take the melted butter in a bowl. Add plenty of finely chopped garlic, fresh coriander, green chilies, and a little salt. Your 'garlic butter' mix is ready.
Take a ball of dough and roll it out into a large, thin roti (flatbread). Now spread your prepared 'garlic butter' evenly over the rolled-out roti. Fold it like a fan and then roll it into a ball again. This will create many layers in the paratha.

Heat a griddle and cook the paratha on both sides with ghee or butter until it is golden brown and crispy.
Serve this hot, crispy garlic paratha with plain yogurt, pickle, or a cup of strong ginger tea. Believe me, this dish will become a favorite for everyone in the family, young and old.
