Monsoon has arrived in our country. There is a different pleasure in eating spicy food during the rainy season. Right now, we are talking about Besan Pakodas. There is hardly anyone whose mouth does not water after seeing them. If you get this wonderful dish, then your day is made. If you also like them, then you can prepare them very easily. By adding a pinch of baking soda to the solution, they become crispy and soft. These can be tried on any special occasion, along with normal days. Usually, they are enjoyed as breakfast or snacks. If guests have come to the house and you are unable to think of what to prepare and serve quickly, then this is a great option. These are eaten with great gusto. Serve hot pakoras with sauce or chutney.

Ingredients

Gram flour – 1 bowl

Cumin seeds – 1 tsp

Ajwain – 3/4 tsp

Red chilli powder – 1 tsp

Black pepper powder – 1/4 tsp

Baking soda – 1 pinch

Coriander powder – 1 tsp

Turmeric – 1/2 tsp

Chopped green chillies – 3-4

Chopped coriander leaves – 2 tbsp.

Oil – for frying

Salt – as per taste

Method – First of all, take a deep-bottomed vessel and filter the gram flour and put it in it. After this, finely chop the green chillies and coriander leaves.

- Now add all the spices, including cumin, ajwain, red chilli powder, turmeric, coriander powder, and baking soda to the gram flour and mix well.

- After this, add green chillies and coriander leaves and mix. Finally, mix salt in the gram flour as per taste.

- Now prepare the gram flour batter by adding water little by little. Keep in mind that the batter should not be too thin or too thick.

- Keep its consistency medium. Now, put oil in a pan and heat it on a medium flame. When the oil is hot, make pakoras with your hands and keep putting them in the pan, and fry them.

- Fry the pakoras by turning them until they become golden and crispy on both sides. After this, take them out in a plate. Similarly, prepare pakoras from all the batter.
