Lakme Fashion Week is eagerly awaited by fashion enthusiasts every year. It is India's premier fashion and lifestyle event, completing its 25th year this year. For over 25 years, the event has been inspiring and redefining the fashion world.

Speaking of this year's Fashion Week, it began on October 8th. The opening ceremony was held on the first day, after which, through this five-day showcase, Lakme Fashion Week, in partnership with the FDCI, has established itself as the hub of the fashion business. With over 100 designers, brands, and industry stakeholders showcasing each season, the show will feature several prominent designers.

On the first day of the show, Wednesday, October 8th, the opening ceremony was held at The Kunj, showcasing collections created by Akaroo, Anavila, and The Edit. This showcase is a testament to the commitment of FDCI, Lakme, and Reliance to promoting creative and designer fashion in India.

Many prominent and renowned designers will participate in this five-day event. The list of designers includes Tarun Tahiliani, Abraham & Thakore, Shantanu Nikhil Couture, Supima, and Rahul Mishra, who will showcase their fashion at The Grand in Vasant Kunj.

A first-of-its-kind event will take place.
This will be the first time that renowned designer duo Shantanu and Nikhil Vellora will unveil their signature designs. They will launch their first all-women couture showcase, a showcase synonymous with unabashed glamour. Renowned fashion designer Suneet Varma is also set to showcase her first ready-to-wear collection, designed specifically for modern women. This collection is inspired by the glamour of the 1970s, making it unique.
