Ingredients for making Chole

1 cup boiled white chickpeas

2 tomatoes

1 onion

Ginger-garlic paste

1 tsp cumin seeds

1/2 tsp turmeric

1 tsp coriander powder

1 tsp red chilli powder

1 tsp chaat masala

Method

Since you have to make chickpeas for lunch today, you don't have time to soak it overnight. So soak it in boiling water right now. It will swell even after soaking for two to three hours. When the chickpeas swell, put them in salt water and boil them in a cooker. After boiling, keep it aside and now start making chickpeas.

For this, first make tomato puree. If you want, you can also chop it finely. When the puree is ready, first of all, put some oil in a pan and fry turmeric, cumin seeds, and ginger-garlic paste in it. After this, add finely chopped onion and fry it till it becomes golden. When it is fried properly, add tomato puree to it.

After this, add all the remaining spices and fry till the oil comes to the top. When the oil comes to the top from the tomato, add boiled chickpeas and salt according to taste and mix. When the spices are mixed in the chickpeas, add water to it and then cover it and boil it. When it starts thickening, turn off the gas and finally add green coriander on top. Your instant chickpeas are ready.

Ingredients for making Bhatura

1 cup flour

1/4 cup semolina

1/2 cup curd

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

A little salt

Method

To make Bhatura, first sieve the flour and semolina and keep it on a big plate. After this, mix curd in it and knead it. When it starts kneading, add some baking soda and salt to the flour and mix. After this, add lukewarm water little by little and knead the flour completely. When it is completely kneaded, cover it and keep it aside.

When you want to serve Bhatura, heat the oil in a pan roll Bhatura from the dough, and fry it in hot oil. When it becomes golden, take it out of the oil and keep it on a plate. After this, serve these Bhaturas with chole, onion, pickle, and chutney.
