Nainital: After Maha Kumbh, now the crowd is gathering in this city instead of Ayodhya-Banaras..

For the past few weeks, a decline in the number of tourists has been recorded in Nainital, the famous tourist city of Uttarakhand. The main reason for this was believed to be the ongoing Maha Kumbh (Mahakumbh 2025) in Prayagraj, in which lakhs of devotees had arrived to take part in Ganga baths and religious rituals. Due to Kumbh, there was a rush of people in Ayodhya and Banaras as well. But now the Maha Kumbh has ended with the royal bath, and due to the festive season of Holi, the tourism business in Nainital has started gaining momentum once again.

This year the festival of Holi will be celebrated on March 14, and coincidentally it is falling on Friday. This has given people a great opportunity for a long weekend, due to which many tourists are turning to Nainital. Digvijay Singh Bisht, President of Nainital Hotel Association, says that there has been a boom in booking in the last few days, and it is expected that by mid-March there will be a huge increase in the number of tourists in Nainital.

Tourism businesses will get relief.

Digvijay Singh says that the expectations of people associated with the tourism industry in Nainital will be very high in the coming month. For the last month, businessmen associated with hotels, restaurants, and other tourism services had to suffer losses due to fewer tourists. But now as the bookings are increasing, it is expected that this long weekend will strengthen the tourism industry again.
