Heat has been seen in many states of the country since the beginning of this year. Only the month of February has been completed and the heat has broken many records. Meanwhile, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that the next three months will be very sweaty. According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature will be higher than normal between March and May, due to which there is a possibility of severe heat. Especially in North, Central, and Western India, there will be an increase in temperature.

According to the IMD report, there will be more days of heat waves during this period, due to which the heat can be more troublesome. This estimate is for most parts of India, but some areas may also get some relief.
The outbreak of heat will continue from March to May.
The Meteorological Department said that the temperature will start rising from the beginning of March and it will remain above normal. However, night temperatures may remain relatively normal or lower in some parts of North-West India and South India. But as April and May arrive, the outbreak of heat will intensify.
There is a high possibility of heat waves in Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Madhya Pradesh. According to IMD, when the temperature reaches 40 degrees Celsius or more and is 4-6 degrees more than normal, then it is declared a heatwave.
Which states will be most affected?
IMD says that Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, and Chhattisgarh may face severe heat this time. Temperatures will also be higher than normal in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Delhi-NCR, and Telangana, which may cause trouble for people.
However, some areas of Northeast India and South India are likely to get some relief. Where the temperature may remain normal or less. There will be heat in these areas, but not as severe as it will be seen in North and Central India.
Will rain provide some relief?
People are hoping for rain to get relief from the heat, but IMD says that there is a possibility of normal rain across the country in March. However, some parts of South India may receive more rain than normal, which may cause a slight drop in temperature there. But in other parts, the rain will not have much effect and the heat will persist. Therefore, in the coming months, people will need to be careful to avoid extreme heat and heat waves.
