The first unofficial Test match between India A and England Lions ended in a draw on the fourth and final day. India had scored 557 runs in the first innings with the help of Karun Nair's double century, but with the help of centuries from Tom Haynes, Dan Moseley and Max Holden, England Lions scored 587 runs in the first innings and took a lead of 30 runs. By the end of the day's play, India scored 241 runs for two wickets in the second innings.

Yashasvi-Easwaran partnership

Indian batsmen performed brilliantly in both the innings of this match. In the second innings, all four top-order batsmen scored half-centuries for India. Yashasvi Jaiswal, who was dismissed cheaply in the first innings, and captain Abhimanyu Easwaran added 123 runs for the first wicket.
