**Caring for Vines and Leaves**
Mahant Kameshwaranand Vedantacharya notes that the corner between the south and east—known as the *Agni* (fire) direction—is considered ideal for planting a money plant. Placing the plant in this direction fosters a positive atmosphere in the home. It is also essential to care for the plant's vines and leaves; any dried leaves should be removed periodically. According to Vastu beliefs, if the money plant's vines begin to touch the ground, they should be lifted and trained upwards immediately. Downward-growing vines are believed to signal obstacles to the household's progress. Such growth is thought to lead to issues like unnecessary expenses, interpersonal discord, and conflicts, and may even affect one's reputation and respect in society.

**Train the Money Plant Upwards Using Support**
Mahant Kameshwaranand Vedantacharya explains that the higher the money plant's vines and leaves grow, the greater the prosperity the household is believed to attain. Therefore, if the vines have drooped downwards, they should be guided upwards using some form of support. When keeping a money plant at home, one must take special care to ensure that its vines do not spread across the ground. Planting a money plant at home is considered auspicious, though it is not worshipped; worship is reserved for the sacred Tulsi and Peepal plants.
