LPG Cylinder Price Cut: Commercial LPG cylinder prices reduced by over ₹200; what are the new rates in Delhi and Kolkata?

The price of commercial LPG cylinders was reduced by more than ₹200 today. News agency ANI reported that the price of the 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder has been cut by ₹209 in Kolkata and by ₹202 in Delhi. Following this revision, the price of the 19 kg commercial cylinder in Kolkata will be ₹2,872.50 starting today.

The reduction in commercial cylinder rates will directly benefit restaurants, hotels, and tea stall owners. There has been no change in the prices of 14.2 kg domestic cylinders. The 19 kg commercial cylinder will now be available in Delhi for ₹2,728; previously, it was priced at ₹2,930.
Will domestic LPG prices also decrease?
According to sources, there has been no change in domestic LPG cylinder prices. Consumers will continue to purchase cylinders at the existing rates. Currently, a domestic LPG cylinder costs ₹942 in Delhi, ₹968 in Kolkata, ₹941.50 in Mumbai, and ₹957.50 in Chennai.
When were gas prices last revised?
Prior to this, on July 1, oil marketing companies had reduced the price of the 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder by ₹183.50. Following that reduction, the price in the national capital, Delhi, stood at ₹2,930. Meanwhile, the price in Kolkata dropped from ₹3,255.50 to ₹3,081.50. In Patna, too, the price of the 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder fell to ₹3,227. This marked the first major reduction in commercial LPG cylinder prices recorded in 2026.
